Community

Offering you more than just a holiday

Off the Reserve, strong community links have been formed. The Dalton Education Trust, a ZuluWaters initiative - was born in 2008, with a focus on Early Childhood Development in the surrounding communities.  When you choose to stay at ZuluWaters you are assisting us to support the children in 3 local nursery schools.

Food

Nourishment in Harmony with Nature

At ZuluWaters, our culinary philosophy is rooted in wellness, sustainability, and deep respect for the land and its original inhabitants.

Our carefully curated menu is predominantly plant-based; celebrating organic, locally sourced ingredients that reflect the purity and vitality of our pristine natural surroundings.

Every dish is crafted to nourish the body and uplift the spirit — from vibrant garden-fresh salads and seasonal vegetables, to hearty whole grains, legumes, and wild herbs foraged from the reserve. We partner with organic farms and growers to ensure every bite is clean, nutrient-rich, and bursting with flavour.

Expect innovative cuisine that fuses global inspiration with indigenous South African ingredients — whether it’s a turmeric-laced butternut soup, gnocchi served with coriander pesto, local veggie stir-fry with toasted sesame,  delicious burgers on homemade seeded bread or red lentil omelette with mushrooms, bell peppers and tomatoes. Our chefs balance creativity and wellness, offering meals that are as visually stunning as they are deeply satisfying.
All our food is cruelty free with plenty of gluten-free and raw options available upon request and guests with specific dietary preferences or sensitivities are thoughtfully accommodated.

Our menu is more than food — it is a journey through the textures and tastes of nature, aligned with ZuluWaters’ mission to restore, conserve, and live in balance with the wild.
